One random fact about me is that I am a pretty random person! I love spontaneous things, just doing something, or acting a certain way because I feel like it, wherever the moment takes me! So, how about I just tell you 5 random facts about myself, sounds like a plan. : )

Well, I do like spending time with my friends and family. I especially love talking nonsense! Yep that’s right, just chatting about obscure, silly things with people equally as crazy as myself hehe! You should try it sometime. I suppose I’m just a big kid at heart, I mean, I’m not going to start acting mature because I’m 19, that would be ridiculous!

I have to admit, if there is one thing I love doing it’s travelling, I have it in my blood! I went backpacking a few summers back, all over Europe, such a fantastic experience. There’s no better feeling that exploring a new place, feeling completely free and able to do exactly what you want to do! I’m hoping to do a Round the World trip in a few years, you know, safari in Africa, climb Everest, that sort of stuff : )

I am studying at University at the moment, a town called Reading, quite near London, and a pretty **** good place to be if you ask me! I study English Literature and Italiano, although my Italian language skills aren’t the best in the world : ) I currently live in a house with my friends, sharing with seven other guys, yep seven! And yes, it does get a little messy from time to time, but we try hehe.

I enjoy meeting people from all over the world, the way I see it, you can never know enough friends across the world, it doesn’t matter if your Spanish or Chinese, everyone has something special about themselves! I’ve met some good friends over time. I did exchanges to Norway, Germany and Italy, and still keep in contact with the people I lived with and met along the way. Good times and good memories!

Next year I will be living abroad for a year, studying at Bologna University in Italy. I’m not gonna lie, I fell really nervous about living away from home, but at the same time I’m so excited about having such a unique opportunity.​ So if there’s any people from Bologna out there, fell free to let me know what awaits me! : )

That’s me! I’ll finish by writing a couple of things that I enjoy… I love smiling, you know, laughing so much that your face begins to ache, always fun… And I love those awkward moments when you laugh when you know you shouldn’t. Like, today when this guy with a giant handlebar moustache sat next to me and my friend, actually hilarious : )

Preferably anyone around the same age as myself, or even older if you like. I met this old lady in Austria once, she was 76 and travelling around Europe, revisiting old places. She had so many interesting stories to tell. So, yeah, all ages welcome : )

Native Italian speakers are welcome, I appreciate the opportunity to practice writing to people in Italian, every little helps! Basically anybody, as long as you’ve got something interesting / fun to say, but then again, everyone does!

Well, i study English Literature, so pretty good at English :) Can help any people out with that.

Currently learning Italian, So penfriends who speak fluent Italian would help me out a LOT! :)

If I’m going out to a party I have to say dance music. House, Techno, Trance, that kind of stuff. It just makes me feel happy, and put me on some kind of natural high, amazing what music can do! : )

If I’m just relaxing, I like Indie, RnB, anything that is chilled out like that. Helps me fall asleep at night!

If I’m feeling particularly​ random, some 60’s 70’s 80’s classics. If it sounds good then I’ll listen to it, that’s my motto.

I do film studies at University, so I’ve seen quite a lot of cinema! I like all sorts of genres and periods. I like the classics, for instance “Casablanca”​, “Vertigo”, “Blow-up” etc. I like Italian cinema, especially liked “La Dolce Vita”. Another favourite of mine is Asian cinema (as in Japanese/Kor​ean etc). I loved “Battle Royale”. Asian cinema looks at such hard hitting, extreme themes, always good to watch. Some general favourite films of mine include, Borat, Goodfellas, Forrest Gump and so on.

I’ll just name a few. I like British comedy, like “Only Fools and Horses”, such a great programme! Animated stuff like Family Guy and the Simpson’s always makes me laugh. Some of my other favourites include House, Scrubs, The Office (Which was set in my hometown of Slough!)

Studying literature, so, a lot of stuff. I particularly​ like plays and certain poems. I love the fact you can interpret these texts in different ways, and how they can affect people in different ways.
