I don't discriminate​ when it comes to music. I literally like a little of everything. Some few favorite artists are Jason Mraz, Colbie Callait, Rascal Flatts, Nickelback, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, Elvis Costello, The BeeGees, Aerosmith, etc.

Way too many to list. I am big on movies. To give you an idea: Hangover, All 3 Pirates of the Caribbean movies, The Bucket List, Lean On Me, Million Dollar Baby, Coming To America, Fox and the Hound, In and Out, Wanted, Fight Club, Meet the Robinsons, Fun with Dick and Jane, Castaway, Finding Nemo, 300, Forrest Gump, The Boondock Saints, Van Helsing, all Saw movies, the Longest Yard, Pursuit of Happiness, The Curious Case of Benjamen Button, etc.

I have a few favorite shows, but nothing too serious. They include: Ellen Degeneras Show, Weeds, The Big Bang Theory, Chain Reaction, blah blah blah. Pretty much any game show, anything on Planet Green/Animal​ Planet/Disco​very Channel/Come​dy Central.

I usually read educational or books with a "deeper​, philosophica​l meaning."​ Not a big fan of fiction. However, I do like Dan Brown's books[DaVinc​i Code, Angels and Demons, Digital Fortress]. George Orwell is a good author as well[Animal Farm and 1984].
