Hi everyone! I am a  divorced Mom of 2 from California. I love having penpals and learning about other cultures and customs! I want to make new friends from EVERYWHERE, but am especially fond of Spain, Japan, and India. :-)

I enjoy music, movies, reading, writing, internet, the BEACH!!, rain, cold weather, geography, anything PINK, collecting dolls, photography,​ Disneyland, sewing, crafting, gardening, dancing, laughing :-D, Flamenco, anything Spanish or Asian, (esp. Japanese), anything silly, seafood, poker, pool, ping-pong, penpals, family, friends, BBQ's, thriftshops,​ yard sales, animals (especially cats), nature, flowers, Diet Pepsi, and coffee! I don't smoke, but will have the occasional glass of wine. ;-) I studied Flamenco and Folklorico for many years but no longer dance, my knees won't let me. I only dance at parties now!

A little bit of everything, Flamenco, Motown, Latin,  Salsa, Merengue, Classical, Pop, Oldies, Disco, Classic 70's rock, 80's, J-Pop, Disco, Bollywood, Gyspy Kings,  almost anything!

Gloria Estefan, Steve Tyrell, Tito Rojas, Paco de Lucia, Beatles, The Beach Boys, Journey, Michael Buble, ABBA, etc.....

The only styles I DON'T like are Rap, Country, Blues, Metal, and Jazz.
But just because we don't like the same music doesn't mean we can't be friends. :-)

My favorite genres are foreign and independent films, also comedy, documentarie​s, and animated films. ;-)

I'll read anything I can get my hands on, but can't say I have a favorite - there are just too many good books out there! ;-)
