My name is Sherry Dedrick. I am 18 years old and from Virginia. I've been on this site before, I deleted my account accidently, so yeah. And before you ask a Schwarzkopfm​eise is a black-capped​ Chickadee, my favorite bird in the entire world. I had to use Schwarzkopfm​eis because they wouldn't allow me to have the 'e'... I have studied German for three years now. I was accepted into the German Academy of the Governor's School which is very honorable. I will be going there for three weeks this Summer. It's in Richmond. Okay, it's after the 13 of July. I'm back from the Governor's School. It was awesome. I can't say enough good about it, really. The only thing that I can say is that it wasn't long enough.

For pen pals, I would like honest people. I would also like people whom are speaking or learning the same languages as I am. I am still studying German and I'm studying Swedish now. I haven't gotten too far with those, but I hope by the end of next year I'll be able to have pen pals using the language. Honestly that's the best way to learn a language. In college, if I don't want to become a vet, I'm going to become an internationa​l something or other, so I'll be learning Russian at that level. But I'm going to start now so I have a heads up on the language..

My German speaking abilities right now are just about as good as my English. Although I still need help with vocab and speaking. Writing and reading, I can kick anyone's butt on. (With the exception of a native speaker of course) My Swedish...I can up hold a two second convorsation​ with a new born..haha The only thing that I can say right now is kyckling and Tack så mycket. (Chicken and Thank you very much) That's one good way to start a polite convorsation​..if you want death. Thanks Chicken!!! And Russian, I haven't started yet, but it'd be nice to have some help when I do.

My hobbies include anything that I feel like doing when it pops up into my head. I also like to read, write letters, and listen to music..Rock music.
