My name is Emma, I'm a twenty year old girl and I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I am currently working part time and taking a part time course at a university level. I love learning new things and meeting new people, and of course writing letters.
I'm an ecclectic pagan and I like to celebrate the sabbats with friends. I'm also bi (the profile pic is the makeup I wore for last years Stockholm Pride Parade).

I prefer to write via snail mail, but email is okay too in special cases. I don't care about what age, gender, nationality,​ religion or anything like that my penpals have, so long as they are nice to talk to and write interesting fairly long letters, and don't stop writing after just a few times. Openmindedne​ss is a must!
I also like swapping things like stickers, stationary etc, so a penpal who likes to swap would be fun (but not nesseccary).​

I\'m interested in all languages so if you need some help with one of the ones I know, you can teach me a few words in your native language (or another language you know)  in return!

I love reading and writing (I have published a poetry book). I like to play The Sims 2 on my computer, and surf on the net. I also enjoy music, movies, hanging out with my friends, discussing interesting things (like philosophy, religion, love, life, or any other more random subject like why so many things are said to taste like chicken) craftsy stuff and much more. Oh, and I also like doing text-based roleplaying which I have my own forum for. :)

I have a very wide taste and listen to everything from rock to pop to rap to folk music to alternative to anything you can think of. I love music with good lyrics as well as music with danceable beats.

Again I have a wide taste; I care more about quality than genre. Some of my faves include; LotR, Harry Potter, Girl Interrupted,​ Sense and Sensibility,​ Love Actually, Sin City, Kill Bill and many more. Oh, and Monty Python of course!

I love detective/co​p shows like CSI (the original), Law and Order (any but the original), Lynley and Wire in the Blood. I also sometimes like funny shows like Simpsons, Family Guy, Two and a Half Men, Friends and America's Funniest Home videos. Oh, and right now I love Heroes and Starget SG-1 too!

I try to read as much as I can, but I think I mostly read fantasy books (David Eddings is my favourite in that genre). I also like classics though, like Poe, Jane Austen and Virginia Wolff, and reading poetry. And of course I like Harry Potter, lol.
