About Me:
We are a group of students from Watkins Glen High School! We are doing a project for our global class about the presidential election for the US and how we affect other nations so we need the worlds view on it. We each got a country and ours is South Africa so we are looking for opinions and views from anyone from there on who they want to win, what issues matter the most to them, and why. Speak your mind, all information is much appriciated.
Also for this project we have created a myspace at <http://www.myspace.com/southafricaonus2008> so if you have one please add us and a leave a comment.
Thank you to all who take the time to share the opinions.

hi thanks for the message, In Africa we looking back at change, change to a more inclusive talk and positive imaging to bring America in the mainstream of the social world, the elite dont care who the colour of the Amecan president will be, we just need a president who responds in person and policy to the world concerns and to me Its Barack Obama, macain fails to adress our concerns and sticks to protecting Americans, like we we dont need life, what a fuss
Well Barack Obama promises change so i think he's the right man for the presidency. However the colour of his skin might affect his campaign for the job but if he can be given a chance, this is the most intelligent politician i have ever come across. He will bring fresh ideas to make the world a better place
hi there, i think that America doesnt realise how important they are as the worlds leading "economy" country, so we do heavily critisize because it also effects us....about the campain i dont think you need a old man sorry to say, to run the country cause he'll come with the same old ideas, which means no change. You need some who has been watching from the sidelines and wont repeat the same mistakes, also some one with a fresh mind....OBAMA is the man, its just that Mcain seems like another Bush.
I don't care about American politics as we have enough political issues going on here at home.
"OBAMA! A man with moral character and vision. Obama will be the wind of change America and the world needs."
I don't think the US realize how negatively they can influence the world, I read the autobiography of Gen. Norman H Shwartskoff. In his book he says a true leader must have character, I do belive that Obama has the character and the vision to become a true leader. However I also learned through bitter experience that politicians are by definition are liars and cheats, and if they are not kissing babies, they are stealing their candy.
So all eyes are on Obama. Let us hope does not disappoint the US and the rest of the world, what we need is stability in the world economics, and a leader that can step up to the plate and be true to his own convictions.

OBAMA! A man with moral character and vision. McCain plays dirty, men in glass houses should not throw stones. Obama will be the wind of change America and the world needs. He is young with the enthusiasm and energy needed to pull off being a President. The world needs more Nelson Mandela type people. VOTE OBAMA!
