Hello I am Stan, married to Marlene, living in Meerlo, a little village near the German border. We have three children, all out of home. I like to read, mostly SF and fantasy. I like to walk .

Reading, mostly SF and than specially the older ones. But also German Literature, Schlinck is my favorite. I have to admit, I am a philatelist. I be ashamed.

Country rock, Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers (Gram Parsons), Neil Young etc. And since Philadelphia, Bruce Springsteen is hot, seeing him there on the Franklinparkway Drive in a acoustic concert

Hi Stan! If you google David Sedaris, one of the sites is an audio of him reading the story of the 7 or 8 black men who accompany St Nicholas when he arrives in the Netherlands by boat.
