Hello I am Stan, married to Marlene, living in Meerlo, a little village near the German border. We have three children, all out of home. I like to read, mostly  SF and fantasy. I like to walk .

I am searching for friends all over the world to write in english or german.
Since september 2007 my daughter lives in Philadelphia​.Therefore I Like to know more about the states than we  received by TV and paper.
We were in  America in October 2008. We had a great trip, mainly through Virginia, beautiful state.

Reading, mostly SF and than specially the older ones. But also German Literature, Schlinck is my favorite. I have to admit, I am a philatelist.​ I be ashamed.

Country rock, Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers  (Gram Parsons), Neil Young etc. And since Philadelphia​, Bruce Springsteen is  hot, seeing him there on the Franklinpark​way Drive in a acoustic concert
