Oh, I am very sorry to hear that this has happened to you with your family, but also happy to know that you have found a new family.  Will you move to Sri Lanka?  I have never been there, do you like it?

You have a good point there.  It is hard to find a good team and long lasting friendships.​  I think that is what society has done, or should I say consumerism has done.  It is true that money can't buy you happiness, but it's better than being broke.  I have a lot of good memories about the holidays, especially the home-baked cookies and candies my grandmother made...If I ever have children, I want them to remember happy things like that...

Oh, yes, I feel that way, too!  It is sad that almost every country one goes to, has a Starbucks or McDonald's.  I stay away from those places.  I am also against drinking and things of that sort.  Do you like the holidays and what is your favorite memory of them?

Why are people not interested in tradition?  I think it is important to keep alive traditions, well, most anyway (as long as they are not harmful to anyone).  I would very much like to have traditional items.  I have seen photos of your Christmas markets.  Very nice.  We have a small one in Chicago every year.
