I am a 22 year old woman from the United States very keen on learning about other cultures. I am studying English at my university and hope to write some day. I am an extremely open minded and adventurous person.

I am very accepting of all people and cultures (but one of those proud Americans who is Anti George Bush in every possible way).

I keep it simple and like low maintenance people who have a lot to talk about and aren't afraid of speaking their mind...becau​se I certainly am not.

I go the extra mile when traveling the world and am not shy. I am not short of adventures, having been to more countries than I can count or remember. I want to travel to Brazil, Argentina, Thailand, Singapore, Italy, Greece, and South Africa among MANY others. I think the most amazing gift my parents ever gave me was the gift of travel - I've seen and learned so much, I have a keen eye for being a nomad. I am the type of girl that doesn't mind being put into new situations and new places - bring it on, I am usually all about it.

Try to keep it around my age - though I have an open mind, I'm not here to make friends with single 40-something​ men whose interests differ greatly from mine. I'd like to talk to both women/men from countries that speak Spanish and eventually, I'd like to learn Italian. If you need help with English, though, I would be happy to help.

I am learning to speak Spanish and can write and speak fairly well. However, I need a lot of help and would LOVE to help anyone who speaks Spanish with English considering it is what I am specializing​ in at my university!

I am one of those people who focuses on the simple things. Drinking beers at baseball games. Good books I can't put down. Walking in the grass bare-foot. Cocktails. The ocean (I love to snorkel, kayak, scuba dive, you name it - and if I haven't tried it, I am probably ready to learn). Traveling. Europe. Hispanic culture / speaking Spanish. Making new friends in odd places (hence, why I am here, no?) Being with my loved ones. Playing with my dog. A good debate. People with a sense of humor. Living to eat and NOT eating to live (I'm not into fast food or soda...I think there's more out there in the culinary world than most people realize) Adventures (I've had a ton) Laughing until my stomach hurts.

I am simple and very outgoing and don't need a lot to keep me happy.
