Hello, Czesc, Hallo, Hoi, Hej, Terve!

So I'm a 24 year old guy, currently studying a bachelor of communicatio​n studies at university. I'll be majoring in Public Relations, but hope to get involved with journalism. Should be graduating at the end of this year, fingers crossed. Live down in New Zealand, great place, but it has its limitations and it kind of sucks being so far away from... everywhere :( Especially when you love to travel, but costs a small fortune to go anywhere outside of the South Pacific.

Like most people on here (well I would assume so) I'd like to get to know a bunch of interesting,​ open minded and sociable people around the globe. So if you find anything on here particularly​ interesting,​ feel free to get in touch. Also, I only speak English - though languages interest and fascinate me. I know various things about the languages I put under "learning"​, but I don't speak much in them.

This section will be skipped over by those its intended for, but anyway...

- I love long messages, that's what I'm here for. So don't expect a reply if you write hello (or if its a mass produced wall of text you've sent to me and 50 others either).
- Write properly. Seriously, I don't mind spelling mistakes and that sort of thing when English is a second language. But writing messages like its an sms when you're on the internet is retarded.
- I don't really want to be one of your 200 friends that you don't talk to. Please save me the effort of declining you :)
- I'm well versed in the art of common sense, which is quite effective against scammers. Save your time, though it can be fun writing insulting messages too I guess.

Would be especially be happy to talk to people from some of my favourite countries...​ which does in fact, mean pretty much any country in Europe. Though in particular, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Finland and Poland :)

Otherwise, I guess my hobbies are quite typical for people my age. I have a passion for cars and motorsport: V8s, WRC, F1. I love watching films, nearly always have music playing, taking photos, going to the beach, seeing and going out with friends (alas, most have moved from Hamilton after they graduated) online games, discussing politics and current events, drinking good beer. I generally have an opinion and something to say about most things, I'm taking a philosophy paper this semester as an elective paper, since I quite like this way of looking at the world, things etc.

I also like sitting down somewhere from time to time and watching the world go by, people going about their lives, other happenings that you wouldn't otherwise notice. It's also kind of interesting to browse through profiles on here, the things people write and how they interact. I mean, have you noticed that the entire population of France seems to be obsessed with Japan and Korea? Do you get a laugh about from guys who just don't get the meaning of "NO MEN" (and that 9 times out of 10 they're from Turkey) - or do you just cringe? The way non native English speakers apologize for their English which is actually really good, while native speakers who can't spell or do grammar offer to teach it... And much, much more.
