About Me:

​ I feel that I am an intelligent and caring person, passionate about animals, music and other topics. I am open minded and consider what im told carefully and make my own mind up about things. I have a good sense of humour, love to debate and discuss all kinds of subjects.

I have just completed a two year diploma in operating department practice and waiting for my final results. I have a job interview lined up and hope to be working as an 'odp' very soon ;-) The job is hospital based and involves caring for a patient  from the moment they enter a operating (operating room) department to the moment they are discharged back to the ward - so I do things like anaesthetics​, surgery and recovery). I also have a degree in theatre studies (acting) - I enjoy acting but I need some income to pay the bills!

I am happily single and seriously not looking for a relationship​ at the moment, there is much more to life though I do appreciate that being in a relationship​ can be a fulfilling experience. I can read music and have basic level german skills , I love european languages and would be delighted if someone would teach me some basics!

Inquisitive into other cultures, traditions and lifestyles, like debating issues and discussion of all subjects. I live close to my family, have no siblings but two beautiful dogs who are like children to me and a cockatiel called Buffy who enjoys banging things and making a noise in her cage! The dogs are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels - one is 10 and a half and the other is one year old. I want to get a third but my mother thinks it will cause pack issues (my family live on the same street so we're a close family) but im trying to argue that three dogs is a good thing!​

Requests:

Looking​ for long(ish) letter writers (prefer handwritten as its more personal) from anywhere but not really looking for anyone from england or wales (sorry).  I may take on email friends but it would have to be more than two or three lines each email.

Prefer female friends as I am not looking for a relationship​ in any way, shape or form. The majority of male members who get in touch seem to copy and paste the same message to every girl in the hope it will get them some attention - how sad! However, that isn't saying I will exclude every male on this site as im sure there are some genuine ones out there.​

If you are genuine and just want to write letters and develop a snail mail friendship thats fine - anything else and you will have to search elsewhere. I will take email friends but it would have to be worth it, sharing things by email and real discussions,​ etc.

  That blonde was definatley not you.  He's Richard Sharpe!  I've only watched a few of the episodes on TV.  Didn't like him being blonde and couldn't get over it.  I'm currently reading Sharpe's Devil.  I believe that is cdurrently tha last in the series. sigh.  I've also finished up the Dresden Files long time ago. sigh.  I hav enot even watched on of those TV episodes.  Didn't want to ruin my self image of him at all.  Drop me a line sometime.  I have alot more I could say, but am taking up all your wall space. lol.
