First off, my name is Carl. I'm never really sure what to say on these damn things.

Well... I'm a bored college student looking for some new friends around the world and possibly someone to help with German or teach me a bit of Hindi before i go off to india for a few weeks in December.

About me? Well for starters, every time a website asks me to give a description of myself i feel like I'm writing something for a creepy craigslist personal or something...

I guess you could say I'm easy going, funny (at least i think so), fairly open minded, and easy to get along with? I really love traveling and leave the States every time I get the chance. But mostly, I just like killing time and this seems to be a good way to do that.

I'm currently working on my German. I'm not really to the point where i need a whole lot of help right now but i will be there soon.

As far as Hindi goes, I am going to India for 3 weeks soon and would love to pick up a bit before i make the trip.

I love Russian literature and am planning to make Russian my next project after i gain a decent fluency in German.

I have taken 3 years of French and hate the language... I can read it fairly well but don't really think in the language... I would like to avoid the language all together, but if we must then sure.
