No i mean something like.
when i try to make a sentence, i try find the words to complete the sentence
like
example : 私 彼 電話番号 知りたい
this sentence is not complete, so i try to find the correct words to finish the sentence
Final Sentence : 私は彼の電話番号知りたいです。

How? well I just watched Japanese news or listened music.
but yes also drama and movies without English subtitles.
what I also did was, trying to talk to myself(awkward hahaha :P) and try to correct sentence.
if I miss some words to finish the sentence, I would look at the Japanese news.
One year ago, in Netherland I joined a Japanese choir team (female woman 40+ age) and I listen to them when they are talking Japanese with each other. because of that I learn a lot too. ^^
