About Me:
I'm an outdoors person that enjoys being active. I live near the beach and enjoy opportunities to try new things especially adventure activities. When I get the chance I relax with friends around a BBQ and enjoy some back yard cricket or some one on one basketball. If the weathers no good I'm just as happy to curl up with a good book and listen to my favorite music. I'm a country girl at heart but enjoy the occasional visit to the city.
Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
I enjoy bush walking/trekking, the beach and water activities, bike riding, kite flying and running keeps me fit. When inside I love to read and listen to music, I enjoy quilting and embroidering, I'm passionate about cooking (still practicing luckily no one's died yet) and don't mind the odd game of cards or monopoly with appropriately aged company of course (the older they get the more serious the game becomes).
Favorite Music:
I enjoy a variety of music often playing what appeals to the mood. I like 80's and some 90's. I have a collection of older music such as Glen Miller, Vera Lynn and Bing Crosby. I'll listen to almost anything except head banger music or explicit words.
Favorite Movies:
Horse Whisperer, 27 dresses, failure to launch, Bourne trilogy, high crimes, stone family, any romantic comedies, some action but no sci-fi or horror. I love Robert Redford and Matt Damon is ooo lala
Favorite TV Shows:
Crimianl Minds, Silent Witness, Bones, CSI Miami, Without A Trace and anything that is gripping but definitely not science fiction. I like many of the English shows like my family, George and Mildred, Threes a crowd, Are you being served, The professionals, MS Bouquet and many others. Actually even though I like these shows I don't watch alot of TV (no time).
Favorite Books:
Favorite authors include: Stormie Omartian, Linda LyPlante, Max Lecardo, Rick Warren Corrie Ten Boom and many others. I love books and read widely.

Happy New Year to you too. Didn't get the chance to visit the flinders range unfortunately, but my sister stays in Adelaide and she has visited them sounds like a pretty impressive landscape from memory.
Nice philosophy - just need to remember to slow down sometimes and not let life pass you by I guess, although that can be the hard part.
Have you travelled extensively within Oz?
