A mom experiencing​ a nearly empty nest and looking for someone to correspond with and learn about different parts of the country and the world.    I have lived and traveled throughout the US and Europe.  I have a sense of humor and will sometimes share this in my emails to others.  I have a degree in M.O.M. and I am often called upon to use my vast skills and knowledge to be a chauffer, school counselor, chef, maid (this one I hate), gardener, animal keeper, banker, all around general concierge, and anything else that might pop up.

1) NO asking for money. just don’t do it, but if you are sending me $ I will gladly take it in US dollars or gold since the American $ is dropping in value. 2) If you are from any other county that you would like to leave don’t write…I am not looking for a marriage proposal…bes​ides I may not be single and I have enough children of my own.  Note first line of description “almost an empty nest.”  3) I am currently looking only for articulate e-mail corresponden​ce, no snail mail at this time please.

I like pets, especially basset hounds, rabbits, and fish.  I now have two fish tanks in operation with an unkown number of fish in them.  I recently accuired a 14 inch Plocostomus fish with the new 55 gal tank.  I have dubbed him Big P.  He is very picky about the way the tank furnishings are placed and will move things around over night if they are not to his liking.  I would like to start up a salt water tank in the near future but need a small fortune to take up that hobby. 

I also garden, hike, and then there is camping and fishing in the summer.  I love reading  and correspondin​g on the computer too. 
Least favorite pastime: house cleaning!

Sleepless in Seattle (I just watched this again after Christmas, It made me wonder if the houseboat in Seattle ever sold this past year.  The owner was asking a huge amout for it; way over the market value of the community.)
