I love adventure and a good story.  Hardship and obstacles are what make life an adventure, and adventures are what make for good storytelling​.  Our bodies may age but our souls do not - in that sense we are, all of us, forever young.  So I say, forget what other people think.  It's your life, your adventure - your story.  You're the only one writing it.

I studied arts, literature and creative writing in college (Michigan State University).​  Then I enlisted in the United States Navy and went through the naval nuclear engineering program.  Who likes nuclear physics? Not me.  I'd rather write books.

Friendship and knowledge.  I'd love to make some friends I could keep in contact with.  I'd also love to learn about other cultures and customs, and daily life.  You'll have to have a sense of humor, though.  Otherwise you could be boring, and who wants that? 

FYI, having a conversation​ is like playing catch.  If one person throws you the ball, you have to throw it back to keep playing.  Likewise, if they write you three paragraphs and you respond with  - " yes. "  Well, you just dropped the ball.  Game over.

I love to read, write and draw.  At any given time I'm probably reading 4 to 5 books.  I also love the outdoors, hiking and camping and all that jazz.  I'm into satire, too.  I tend to make fun of everything around me.  For some reasons, comedy is one of the few things that gets people to think or look at something from a different perspective without getting upset.

I love all kind of music.  Well... almost.

I love epics like Braveheart, Gladiator, etc.
I also love family movies like Life As A House and Family Man.
