Heh, they say she's (Anne Rice) has finally found religion, but i've also heard some people complain about her change in the literary scebne. :| It certainly does seem like a dramatic switch.
Errr... "Silk"​ is a book, a very short one at that. You can try downloading it online. XD I do that a lot. Hehehe...
Oh, but what do you think of the Harry Potter series? Okay, so i've been a fan of it since i was 13 years old. <3 And i still am now... maybe not as much as before, but still a fan. ^_^ Ahhh... the sweet Harry Potter days... <3 Gah! I can't believe they pushed the movie back for summer 2009!!! :C

Hehee... Yes, i have taken a glimpse of the Sleeping Beauty series. Just a glimpse! XP Hahaha! But i more or less know why i shouldn't read it out loud to anyone! XP Well, every artist must have her own weirdness. But she's SO different now compared to what she was before! :| Which is a little disappointin​g as it is admirable, cuz now she writes about religion and not horror-vampi​res anymore. :( Oh, i have Violin... but i haven't started reading it yet. I intend to. One day. Like the rest of the unread books in my closet... XP
Hahaha, I love creepiness (but not psycho-gore!​ eww!)! But i haven't seen a good movie/book about them lately. The last cool-creepy movie i watched was Sweeney Todd, but even that was not exactly the best.
As for romance, I think tragic endings finish off with a bigger bang than happy ones. Tragedy is a very powerful theme, after all. The best love story i've ever read was "Silk"​ by Alessandro Baricco. It's really short, you can read it in an hour or so. But the ending was just--OMG! Have you read it? Or watched the movie? I highly recommend it.
The more you read, the more critical you get; and then the less "good books" can be found for you... for better or worse. XD

Hahaha! Yeah, romance movies often get a bit too outrageous! XP You know, like the Rome-and-Jul​iet drama that happens all in the span of... one week, or less. XP Well, given Shakespeare'​s time, that's excusable; but for authors who mimmick that today, it's just silly! Hmmm, there's also a growing trend of tragic ends in romance novels, what do you think of that? :)
Haha! Well, I'm not that familiar with vampire lore (I just happened to be reading this article while writing on your wall... haha!); but wouldn't it be cool to know about them! XD I so want to get a Gothic literature class! XD Hahaha! Luis is a great vampire; although i think it's Lestat who takes the center fold in the vampire chronicles (which i yet have to read...). Hmmm, maybe i would write a vampire novel one day... just not anytime soon, since i still have to do some "research"​. But for sure, it wont be a chick-flick one! XP
Haha.. well, i was one of the few who were actually irked to have Cedric Diggory play Edward; but i guess in terms of acting skills, he could make up for it. Hmmm, i dunno if i should watch the movie... :| It seems like the perfect girls-all-ni​ght-slumber-​party...

Actually, even according to myths before Dracula, vampires could come out in the daylight. Even Dracula didn't have any trouble being under the sun, but he's signoificant​ly weaker than at night. That sunlight trend was only made popular in a movie remake sometime in the 70's; though it was not in the book. But c'mon, it's another thing to be under the sun, and then sparkle like diamonds!!! @_@
Haha! Well, i think your opinion on vampire romance is valid, too. But im a bit more of a romantic, so it's okay for me. I just REALLY hate the clean image they have! I mean, like Louie from Interview with the Vampire, I found him more engaging because he was sensible despite being half-driven with bloodlust. Twilight is more of tell than show, actually. XP
Hehe... Resident Evil is just mostly gore. XP Fatal Frame really scares you! <3  Of course the it might seem a bit ridiculous at first to kill ghosts using cameras... but it gets all the more engaging once your atually chased by the ghost of a broken-necke​d priestess! Hahaha!

Haha! Isn't the ridiculous amount of cutscenes the good thing about Kingdom Hearts 2? XD Hehe.. I just love cutscenes! I wouldn't mind if the whole this was just turned into a movie! That would be cool! It's just a little weird to call some rat as "The King". But i still think the Disney-FF cross-over was well played! XP <3
Hah! I can go on all day talking about why twilight was the worse thing that ever happened to vampire lore. XC Well, actually i don't mind him dying over one girl; maybe that's just me and my romantic preferences,​ (The story of Dracula was more or less like that, anyway). But i just hated the fact that their too clean! XP No, i don't believe that vampires can be THAT saintly! After all, it's their instinct and way of nature--get real! Yes, it is very shallow! Like, the only charms of the vampire there are good looks and money. XP Ewww...It's definitely some chick-flick-​feel-good-su​gary-vampire​-wannabe crap. Good vampire stories are hard to find these days, but all the more harder now since Twilight came out! >:P Hahaha! Okay, maybe I'm getting a bit carried away with this...
