About Me:
Verbigeration - (repetition of meaningless words and phrases)
Hello Squire, Welcome to my page....
Everything and anything you might need to know about me you will find down the back of your sofa. Everything is down there. Don't think so? Maybe you change your sofa too often. You think they new one is better just because it is new but it doesnt have those teeth marks I made in the bottom when you left the room to get me that drink I asked you for.
However, if your sofa is not compatible with my details, you could always try talking to me.
I don't live in the medieval city of Norwich (as profile says) But not too far from it. That's where my home is. However, I'm at University in Lancaster :D English Literature and creative writing combined degree with ethics philosophy and religion s a minor. I'm not here much anymore.
I've been an interpals member for 5 years or so, although I've re made my profile since then. I'm not looking for anything in particular. Just like meeting very different people from all over this strange little planet.
I'm Quaker. I choose to belive in God because I don't think I could exist in a world where (He) wasn't.
After the veggie years I've now become a vegan. And thinking about things... I guess in the last 3 years I've turned into one of those strange excentrics you wouldn't sit next to on the bus.
I cycle everywhere. I never wish to drive. I like my bicycle. I like to sit on the floor and read a book..wherever I am. I love rainbows and bright colours. I'm a quiet peacefull person but I guess that comes with being Quaker.
I make my empty chewing gum packets into rainbow boxes and save random beads in them. I cut out every picture I like in newspapers, magazines and leaflets and cover my schoolbooks with them. I don't talk very much.
If you have read 'In Cold Blood' by Truman Capote. There is a quote near the begining in which Nancy is asked why her handwritting changes so much. She answers "Because I am, not grown-up enough to be one person with one kind of signature". Which might sum me up...
Am not interested in intellectual conversations. I used to be. It doesn't seem to matter anymore. It's all wrong somewhere along the arguement. However that doesn't mean I am not interested in Intelligent conversation. Just not an ego-fest.

Favorite TV Shows:
Social documentaries. I rarely watch TV. I read. A lot.
Favorite Books:
Books ..are a natural progression of trees and someone's thoughts.
Authors ..need a world besides the one they live in, to function in.
At the moment Christopher Priest, 'The Glamour'. It's about the lives of people that don't exist. Because they fail to really belive in thier own presence.
And people who don't exist because others fail to notice them.
And people who just don't exist.
Because they have been constructed. rather then existing.
There is little better to do then read. I have missed many a bus or train because I didn't even notice them drive up and leave....

Favorite Quotes:
"Our eyesight is here as a test to see if we can see beyond it."
Man is, and always has been, a maker of gods. It has been the most serious and significant occupation of his sojourn in the world."
"It may be that our role on this planet is not to worship God, but to create him."
"You haven’t met yourself yet. But the advantage to meeting others in the meantime is
that one of them may present you to yourself."
"When you realise you are a character in another persons dream, now that's self awareness."
"Things have been tough lately for dreamers. They say dreaming’s dead, that no one
does it anymore. It’s not dead, it’s just been forgotten. Removed from our language.
No one teaches it so no one knows it exists. The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well I’m trying to change all that, and I hope you are too. By dreaming every day.
Dreaming with our hands and dreaming with our minds. Our planet is facing the
greatest problems it’s ever faced. Ever. So whatever you do, don’t be bored. This is
absolutely the most exciting time we could have possibly hoped to be alive. And
things are just starting."

Hello! :D
How are you?
I was wondering if you could say how it is to live in Lancaster, and how the university is there. It's so hard to find the perfect university for me because I live in Norway and haven't got a lot of friends in Britain to help me find things.
Is it expencive to live there? and do we get part-time jobs?
Sorry if you don't wanna explain to me these things :P
Hope I hear from you!

Actually orientation was to take one week but lecturers didnt start teaching on the second week, they started on the 3rd which was last week and they are killing us with assignment. Am doing B Sc. Exercise & Sport Science and there is a unit called Funtional Human Anatomy so when we are doing assignments we share books with Med students and you just feel pitty for those poor creatures. All
those body parts! Then after that you go dissecting, are they called cadivers or what? Never knowing if the guy was a witch and his spirits may come haunting you. I hear as of last week 20 students had already escaped, after orientation, not lessons!!!
Anywayz, am trying to type a long msg too. Not doing bad now? When is your b-day? An eye for an eye will make the world go blind, you knew that. Let's look at that from a feminist perspective with the background info that some girls in Africa and yes, even here in Kenya are undergoing forced FGM. A **** for a ***** will make the world go sterile! I am registering my fear with your decision to join the feminist society whilst you maintain that vengeful trait! :)
By tha, you are "leaving"? How far is your Uni and where is it? I just commute from my sister's home daily in around 10 mins. Nice time, safe journey and go do what you are going to do! We shall chat, my dear, even if after eternity, just be a lil bit patient. I am trying to get my own comp although maybe not very soon. This half-installed cyber scraps are *******.
*No offences intended* Have you had of this 'stupid professor' thing? Not intellectually (you are sharp and bright, of course) But there is the tendancy of pple not applying what they learn: a nutrition professor helping distribute vitamin suppliments in Sudan with a kid at home drinking coke & burgers for a main meal, a tycoon's manager dying a poor guy and that stuff. In addition, an English and literature student fond of typing mistakes. An unfit exercise and sport scientist (I am sooo unfit that I a

Its a really cool msg. I love it the way it is.......natural.......authentic. And by the way am already in uni, since 25th Aug but havent started lectures yet. Just orientation stuff. Maybe I'll start this Monday. So she doesnt rely on her dad! And she's working! There's a song that goes like "i-n-d-e-p-e-n-d-e-n-t x 2. Do you know what that means: She got her own car.....home ........house.blablah" Good for you! Now, what really is manual labour? Taking building blocks, mortar and cement up to 100th floor trying to build another Times Tower? Here pple with Degrees are still jobless so why should a high school graduate bother? Anyway I'll look for some attachment starting from 2 years into my course. Thanx 4 spending time on me!
*blushes* but of course my face doesnt change to pink!

Your Majesty, in accordance to the oath of allegiance that I swore unto you, and in the spirit of the slogan of your wish is my command, I have stopped being Spiderman and erected(no puns intended, Your Majesty) my profile photos. It is my pleasure to be at your service.
In anticipation of more daunting assignments,
Your most humble servant, Luko.
*bows and kisses the Queen's feet, then leaves without looking up into the Queen's face, let alone the eyes!*
*returning to reality*
That's what you are still doing in UK?
