Hey Amokrane. For independence day its a special day ofcourse.
Some friends and I will get together for dinner and watch fireworks at a special event afterwards. Its quite fun to have a good dinner,pop open a cold beer,and watch a show of fireworks.:)

Someday I hope you get to come to America. We ofcourse have our problems as every other country does,but I think you would enjoy it here.

Well, usually, there's fireworks and barbeques and that type of entertainment. Unfortunately, this will be a bit different for us as we just had a death in the family, and so we'll be having funeral processions all weekend. Anyhow, though--where's Kablyia? I haven't seen your profile yet. What's so interesting about the American culture?

Hello Mok...
I do not speak French...I remember a little from high school. I did, however, understand most of your message, but English is the language that I speak.
Last night I went to watch fireworks with my daughter and granddaughter...today many people will have picnics and enjoy the outdoors. Personally, I'm going to relax with a good book. Enjoy your day!

Today I'll be going to my grandmothers house with other family and celebrating independence day by cooking a lot of food and enjoy family. Usually most families set off fireworks and things but where I live in California they're illegal because they could start fires.
