About Me:
★ If you’re looking for a friend who wishes to have a long lasting friendship, enjoys sharing cultural experiences, and likes talking politics or anything you can think of, you should really hit me up. I’ve never been good at starting a new conversation. So please don’t be shy if you do want to talk to me. *welcome smile*
★ I’m a person of different interests and traits. I’m usually cheerful and positive (yay!). Being optimistic can bring me down occasionally but right at the disappointing moment, I’m able to be animated again to look forward to another better hope. So if you look at the cup as half empty and you don’t mean to fix that, either of us will just annoy the other sometime (uh-oh). You gotta have some faith in yourself!! Nevertheless, I’m willing to cheer you up if you’re depressed *peace sign*. I’m somewhat too generous with my laughter. Funny quotes are my favorite -> they make you laugh and ponder. Sometimes I can be excited about… nothing. Oops, you know my secret that I’m pretty much a… weirdo (aww I just said it out loud). Uhm oh yea I’m very sensitive so… watch out because I can read your mind mwahahaha (Nah I can’t. I was kidding.)
★ I’m an International student currently living in California since January. Last year I was an exchange student in Australia but my Aussie sucks. Yup, I’ve been living a far-away-from-home life. Australia and America are great countries and I like both of them loads. No matter where I go and what I do, I’m always deeply in love with my homeland Vietnam. If all you can think of my tropical nation is about War, I’m happy to inform what you’ve missed.
★ I’m absolutely fond of frequent wall post and email exchange though I’m slow in replying to them sometimes. I love reading long wall posts and emails so I will be upset if all you can ask me is “How are you?” and so on --> I’m always fine thank you. I will always try my best to reply to all of you as soon as I can. I will never stop talking to anybody suddenly. Therefore, if you haven’t got my response for a long while, please do not mind reminding me.
★ Oh yea I forgot to mention how much I adore snail mail. Long and thoughtful letters always make me extra-happy. I’m willing and able to write to you more than what you expect (or not =P). I’d be grateful to have some sincere friends who are zealous, honest and open-minded to exchange letters with.

Requests:
It doesn’t matter how old, young, normal, weird, hyper, or quiet you are, as long as you are NOT jerky and dishonest.
Ahh, please don’t be mad at me if sometimes I don’t approve your friend requests. I’d love to be your friend but I don’t add friends RANDOMLY.
Also, it’s always hard to reject so I gotta request you not to ask me to be your snail mail pen pal right away. We really should talk here first. Whoever asks the other for letter exchange has to write the first one, deal?
Plus, I won’t give out my messenger usernames easily, don’t be annoyed at that.

Language Exchange Requests:
I’m confident with my Vietnamese skill not only because it’s my mother tongue but I also adore the Vietnamese language itself and linguistics in general. I use proper and standard language. I don’t use strange and silly spellings as many youngsters now usually do. So I’m willing to help if you’re willing to learn. As for English, I’m working on it to be advanced and I’ll appreciate if you can give a hand.
I know a little Mandarin but I've been forgetting it since I have lack of practice. Also, I’m self-learning French but it’s not going so well. I need some motivation (uh-oh). I promise I will be a good student *points pinkie*

Bonjour!
Well I'v had two so I'm still not fluent...
YEs it is, I like how the words are like a lot of words instead of one long fluent.
Haha, how cool! Phelps himself got more than dubble of Swedens medals.. Oh, but why just now? He was good before too? Well at least Phelps most have some great confidence right now...
Not too much really, I ran 2,4 km though! Well I had to in Gym class but still, I did it!
Not at all, and I have been camping believe it or not. Housevagon, Tent and a strange thing from a box. And I prefer the housevagon but that wasnt too fun either. I mean I think I wont camp again in a near future - I have been wotrking at a camping place my whole summer so I guess that enough for a while.
Yes school started for like 3 weeks or something, and I can tell you this. Time do not fly. Senior, not really this is my 2th year -we bagan school at the age of 7.
Haha YAY!
But I'm not that much older than you, haha.
Have a great weekend!

Decades after the war, there was a temporary dictatorship. The man was a common thief. He stole money from the country and corrupted it. The people had nothing. No food, water, place to live, etc. I think the Americans being on our side at the time planned to intervene, but the dictator decided to give up and leave the country. Since then everything is much better from politics to the environment, but there are terrorist groups inside the philippines, inspired by al Qaeda I think. I think vietnam had it worse though, sorry lol.
oh, lol. I should mention. The Philippines did not fight in that war, but aid workers were present. They took in many wounded americans and south vietnamese and took care of them. I know some countries took care of the north vietnamese (other than china and the ussr), but i dont remember reading anything about that.
haha. Its supposed to be 4 years, but Canada isnt as organized as the US. We have elections whenever. Americans have a set date lol. I think one of the guys I like will win anyways.
Hava a great day!

Never on interpals though. Im a little nervous though cause I have penpals from countries he seems not to like, and some havent responded to me yet. I think they have the wrong impression of me now. But I guess thats what happens when your to ignorant or to intelligent eh.
lol ya. I know. haha. canada does it too, but instead of even attempting to look cool they look stupid. For example, elections are coming up. And they will put simple facts on the table, like Canada is a great contributer to Afghanistan, and if we leave Taliban will move in easilly where the Canadians occupy afghanistan. One person will respond and say we need to protect our country, help the people of afghanistan, etc. Then someone with a stong voice will say, yeah but a Canadian died yesterday, the Taliban prisoners should have better dental care, and the Afghani people are not our problem. So, I notice people tend to follow the bigger mouth rather than the bigger brain. lol.
haha. I meant the war, and all the bad things outsiders did to the country and its people before the victory against the US. I actually don't know a whole lot about my background there, but according to family, friends and small bits of info I read online and in books, our history probably goes as far back as Vietnam. Philippines had a good relationship with Spain, but then the Spanish decided to conquer the Philippines. They were otherwise not so evil besides the slaughtering it too to conquer. The Spanish-American War resulted in the Philippines becoming under American rule. Americans at the time did not allow the americans back home to see the bad news, but the people there were tortured and himuliated. Especially since they were gauanteed independence of the Spanish by fighting for the US. It didnt happen though. Eventually this all stopped, but then the Japanese came. Have you heard of the rape of Nanking? Well, that was true almost everywhere, from China, to Korea and into the Philippines and any conquered area.

Countries like Vietnam and China seem more fortunate. Vietnam is obviously a good country, humane wise.
Yeah, I like Canada's stand. Go, or don't go. But some say our prime minister had other plans since an election is coming up. It's probably true lol.
your teacher is wierd lol. I have teachers who hate Americans, Chinese, Concervatives, Blacks, Gays, etc. Its pathetic, especially being in Canada.
lol. I guess I have. Not really china though. They most likely supported Mugabe because China is communist itself, and to contribute to fighting for a proper democracy in Zimbabwe, all the way in Africa, would be costly, ironic, and possibly humiliating from a Chinese point of view. China is not so bad, or really bad. Just the Tibet thing. I was thinking a long time ago, Tibetans should just run away if its that bad. But then I found out they were trying, but some couldnt escape the gunfire. It's pretty brutal. My friend said he was in India, just near Tibet. And he could see all the Chinese Military from there. The way I see it, it is not Russia who is evil, but the one who dictates the country. A lot of opposition have died recently, pretty mysterious in my opinion. Especially since it resolves mostly around food poisoning...
All the tests are different here... i got a hard one lol. Most of my friends got easy ones, so they didnt have to study, but some of us got questions we didnt understand lol. I might go for my G2 this year, or if not next year. How about you?
lol. I have much simpler courses this year. So hopefully not to late :) I dropped some science courses, I think that was the problem. So have you done your back to school shopping? lol.
ya. Im not sure what the point of all that info was though. Unless he was trying to be ironic lol. But I think he just wanted to impress me with his knowledge. I get carried away too sometimes, I think I am right now actually lol. He didn't scare me at all. I do this pretty much regularly. Never on interpals

Hey! How's it goin? Thats alright. Ill be replying late these days with school, and now that im back in the city, ill be spending a lot less time on the computer and more outside with my friends :D As for sleep, its been to hot to sleep lately. I can bearly imagine how California might be like today.
haha. Do you have a vista?
Oh right. I forgot. i didnt tell you this for some odd reason, but it wasnt on my laptop. Ill have to send it from the computer. Its fairly short, and boring in some parts. Im sure the most interesting part for you is when the Vietnamese become one of the only countries if not the only one to have defeated the US in a war lol.
lol. Im just glad they are at least doing what they think is right by learning from tradition and the west, rather than limiting their ways. There are still many problems of course, but if you look at the history of any country, you will see that China is in an early stage of modernizing, which is quite fasinating actually since it has allies that oppose the West. China does to, but not to such a degree.
ya, its in the blood of America. The reason America is a country is because they were sick of following a king around and doing as he said without question. A lot of Americans are very narrow minded in some ways. They think because one dicatorship went wrong, another will as well. But it is common, no doubt about that. Vietnam I actually found interesting when I did my project. I know people dont trust articles and stuff, but from what I read, the French at the time were inhumane, and the communists eventually rebelled. Resulting in the war, i forget the name of that war. Anyways, Ho Chi Minh was not at all a bad guy. He was fighting for his people, and not for himself. With him in power, you dont have to worry about some wierd guy being elected a few years later. The only problem with dictatorships is that when the good guy dies, who takes over? Countries like Vietnam and China seem more fortunate. Vietnam i
