About Me:

I am a native of the United States,of Cuban born parents. Forgive me if my informal cuban grammar is not perfect, as it sounds better spoken from me then when I attempt to write it.

Requests:

I dont have a preference, but I do like conversing with people my age or around it. I've tried really hard to gain penpals from Asian and Eastern/Northern Europe but it seems as though none of them really want an American penpal like me,so I stopped looking, but I will always welcome a new face. I dont have any Latin American or Central American penpals,or even caribbean,so I guess Im interested in gaining a penpal from a Spanish or Portuguese speaking country like Argentina, Brazil, Panama,Cuba, especially The Canary Islands ( Gran Canaria) or even an English territory like Haiti,Belize or Guyana. I will not turn anyone else down, but since countries I do happen to be interested in arent interested i would like a Latin American snail mail buddy :) Especially an Asian-Latino. I hear in Panama there are alot of Chinese immigrants,as well as Cuba. And that Peru,Argentina and Bolivia have a bunch of Koreans. But correct me if im wrong!

I prefer snail mail penpals over anything. Emailing to me seems kind of myspace-like so it's kind of boring to me to have to keep in touch that way. Im not against it, it's just it's easier to write a letter every month than an email every other day.

Oh,and sexual orientation doesnt matter. Gay,Bi, straight,it doesnt matter to me.

Language Exchange Requests:

German, Japanese, Korean, French, Portuguese, Mandarin-Chinese, Hungarian, Croatian, all of the above really!

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

I love to read and write. Im a film student,so hopefully in the distant future you will see my credits as a director or screenwriter. I love video games. In fact my second market would be visual programming or something in that market if the film gig doesnt work out. I love to shop! I like to work out,but I mostly run.I like collecting 80's memorabilia. I love vampire fiction. In fact Im writing a story about such now :) But I tend to just appreciate the dark fantasy genre in general. Tim Burton is someone I admire highly due to his ability to capture darkness very artistically.

Favorite Music:

I love every genre there is known to man,I harbor no musical prejudice. Although my favorites happen to be Kpop,Jpop,Jazz and pop. To name a few:
Amy Winehouse, Utada Hikaru,Crystal Kay, Se7en,Rain,Jason Mraz, Justin Nozuka, The Ting Tings,M.I.A., Tokio Hotel, but ask,Im not limited to just these artists!

Favorite Movies:

I really dont have a huge preference as long as the genre is well written for the film. The darker themes the better, but add in artistic and Im in love. Time Burton is my savior!

Favorite TV Shows:

Supernatural
A Different World
The Simpsons
Gossip Girl
Heroes
Blood Ties
Family Guy
Recently got into anime:
Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist, Death note, Inuyasha, Blood +, Cowboy Bebop, etc. Mainly popular ones,th US gets all the animes the Japanese have already gotten bored with :)

Favorite Books:

I love literature with a type of Lovecraftian lore to it.I really got into The "Blue Bloods" series by Melissa De La Cruz and The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clarke, anything by Anne Rice and The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause,Let The Right One In byJohn Ajvide Lindqvist but personally, like my taste in movies, books with a bit of darkness is what I enjoy most.

Favorite Quotes:

If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn't

If my heart could do my thinking, would my brain begin to feel?

A brain is worth little without a tongue

I like nonsense; it wakes up the brain cells

The only way to have a friend is to be one

Hello!!

Actually in Peru there are more Chinese and Japanese people than Korean, but I think you can find many people here.

And I agree with you... Tim Burton is just a genious!!

I don't like Hungarian films but I have to recognize that some films (like Cat City) are really good. My favourite Hungarian film is the "Something America" (I don't know it has English title, sorry).
I don't know, I think the Hungarian isn't good language, it's different from other language. Okay, it's easier than Chinese or Japanese but the people like that languages not the hungarian... :)
