What I've been thinking about lately is how our conceptions of different animals are in fact personifications of all the impulses of the human being. This includes fantasy creatures. One way to see this is to look at the Monster Manual of Dungeons and Dragons.

I guess my interpretation of: "The most important thing is to remember what is the most important thing" -- (Shunryu Suzuki) is: The most important thing (best activity for humans) is the act of thinking about/remembering/meditating on what is important in life.
They are very wise words of Shunyu Suzuki I guess. Well the world is changing and we are changing with it. So some things which seemed to be important yesterday can loose thier meanings today... One can treat any other things to be more important through times. So that not to make the change of objects one should remember about true values
Hi Ardelo, May be! even if I'm not one of your colleagues, I can be. There're many on this earth who resemble to others. I teach English Language & Literature, and how about you?
Oh Wait,that's Me!"
Anyway, welcome! How are you liking it here, by the way? (Often, I get wall messages, but it's been so long, and so I forget I have them.)
Is he a translator officially, by job? :) And why did you move?
I have mixed emotions about it. I used to be very okay with it, since it was something that determines how well you learn as a person (i.e. many people prefer to learn visually, and others, verbally) but now, some people have abused it a b much, and used it even as a fad.
Sorry if it's offensive, though! :S Lovely to meet you by the way!
