Hello arien. Im fine thanks. How are you? Nael is an arabic name. Whats urs?
:) Yes, look up GWAR. They are mighty.
The music I like at the moment is fairly.. "out there" I guess? Not something everyone will like.. you either don't like it or you love it. I'm not sure if interpals will let me post links in comments, but if it does, watch this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uk7sYCJOJvo
That's the kind of stuff I like at the moment :)
Traveling.. I'd love to travel. I am quite stationary at the moment; traveling just isn't feasible for a year or so, but it is a life goal to take a year out traveling, and I'm sure I'll do it. California was the last time I properly traveled.. I went to Edinburgh last year for a few weeks, but it wasn't really um.. well you know, heh. Traveling.
Planning is a good thing; I wouldn't mind getting one of those "around the world" plane fare tickets.. they are actually quite cheap for what you get. I met some English lawyers (would you believe it?) in San Francisco when I was out there, who were taking a career break and had around the world tickets.

Oops,. Sorry, you asked me a question :-)
I think I have in some way done all the things on my list (well, my list that is made public here at least. The real list is much much longer and mostly private).
I don't think anybody should ever stop exploring and adventuring. When you stop being curious and stop searching for new experiences then, well, I think it's pretty over for you. At that point you're waiting for your train to the next world. But thats just my way of looking at it. I don't expect everybody to live this way. I may THINK it's the right way, but I don't try to enforce it.
Are you planing any adventures for yourself?

Well, to be honest, yes. It was the kitten pic. It's so cute!
I came for the kitten pic but I'm staying for the conversation ;-)
I am slightly curious about your fav books comment that states 'chick lit.' What exactly qualifies as chick lit?
I'm interested because last night I was arguing with a friend over the term 'chick flick.' I know what it implies but I was arguing that the name is useless and would be better changed to 'films for people who aren't emotionally retarded and can actually watch humans being overly sentimental or romantic without running from the room screaming.'
He correctly pointed out that my title was a little hard to drop into conversation though. Sigh.

It's the bit with the band on the TV :) GWAR are awesome.
My favourite indie rock bands? Well. Kings of Leon... yay. I like Soulwax if you've heard them? If not, I recommend checking them out. I like MGMT. I like Hercules & the Love Affair. I like Vampire Weekend. I like Chromeo. However, with all the above bands, I have played the at clubs so many times that they have lost their edge slightly for me. I will check out Greg :)
Nothern lights would be awesome. I think it's in Canada at the moment, but I'm not sure how frequently it moves. I'm not really an active traveller right now, but I do want to take a year out and travel. I went traveling through California for a month in December 2007 - Jan 2008, and really enjoyed the experience.

Ha well i'm not the best person to give advice but the way i see life now is that you don't have to fit into a stereotype i.e. find career, find a husband/wife, settle down have kids. Life is what you choose it to be and you can do anything you put your mind too, probably not the best time to quit your job as the world is in recession but the life experience you get from going travelling is invaluable!! I've now decided that the best way to spend my time while the world is in recession is to go to university to study so that when things get better i will have a new set of skills with which to persue a new career in something i want to do. Sorry for the long boring message :)
Thank you!
I have to tell you this funny story...... My phone went nuts and told me I had 26 messages from 'ariengoddess' on my interpals wall, and I thought 'oh, god. some wacky, white supremacy intent fool is trying to recruit me.'
So I logged on to check it out and then I laughed loud and hard when I saw the disclaimer on your profile stating where your name comes from and that you are NOT a racist.
Or a Tolkien freak.
Well....... I guess you still might be a Tolkien freak. You haven't been completely ruled that out.
You're not a Tolkien freak are you?
:-)
Thanks for the message

I use the word legend for things I like. Example: a beer on a hot summers days is legend
