Sorry I haven't written back in so long - I've been out of town for the past week and I couldn't come online. So, how is your day going so far? I'm doing really well. I had to go to a doctor appointment this morning, and then I had to go buy groceries and horse feed. I'm just kind of tired right now. Whew! :)

Oh, I don't know - I just haven't found the religion that is right for me yet. I'm studying Islam right now, though. I want to learn about different religions before I commit myself to one. :)
Well, the next holiday coming up is Halloween. Halloween (October 31) is to celebrate the spirite of the dead people coming back to earth for a day. Now, many people have forgotten that. :( People just dress up in costumes and go door to door, begging for candy! It's mostly little kids that beg for candy. :) People will decorate their houses in orange and black. Lots of people also decorate their houses with pumpkins, chrysanthemu​ms, and images of ghosts, witches, bats and things like that. It's my favorite holiday! :D I usually stay at home on Halloween and read scary stories and watch horror movies. It's really fun to me!

My mom is studying Hinduism - I love to study all religions. :) She likes Ganesha the best. :)
I'll try to find something online about Krishna and Shiva. I'm so curious about everything - I love to learn about other cultures and religions.

Well, you want to know about my country and religion? Let's see...I'm not any religion, but I am studying Islam, which is a beautiful religion, to me.
My country is another story! Well I have lived in the US all my life, so it doesn't seem like anything special to me! :) I've never traveled very far from my home. I think that is why I like to pen pal - I get to meet people from all over the worl, and I really like that!

Well, I don't have a bahasa Melayu teacher right now. I'm trying to learn as much as I can on my own. I just have always wanted to know Malayalam - it's a very beautiful language to me. :) I have also studied Japanese, Latin, Russian, and Spanish, but I am focusing on bahasa Melayu right now.
