hey, i live in port washington which is in long island, new york. it is about 1 hr away from the city which i love. and about robotics, i actually have no idea where to start. I was introduced to robotics through my schools robotics club in my sophomore year of high school. since then i've been in love with robotics. im am now going to be a college freshmen at City College majoring in mechanical engineering. My school's robotics club does two competitions, BEST and FIRST. Try to see if any schools near you does the FIRST robotics competition, http://www.usfirst.org/. or if not, create a robotics club in your school. hope this helps :) if you have any more questions just ask.
