About Me:

Hi,
I´m Sabrina, I´m 24 years old and I live in Germany. I´m a history-student and  I´ve worked in a little shop. I´m moving to another town (cologne) at the moment. I would like to get to know people from all over the world, because I´m interested in other cultures and I want to improve my english-skills.
I prefer the good old snail mail, but first I want to get to know you here ;-)

Requests:

I would like to talk to all people but especially to native english speakers.

I´m absolutely NOT INTERESTED in any kind of proposal of marriage or cyber-sex! And i won´t send money to anyone!
I won´t reply any messages from people who obviously haven´t read my profile and I also won't accept friend requests from people I haven't mailed with before. Get to know me a bit before you send one.

Language Exchange Requests:

I understand English quiet good, but I need practice in writing ;-)

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

reading, watching good movies, listening to music, meeting friends, archery...

Favorite Music:

Nina Simone, Melissa Etheridge, Red Hot Chilly Peppers, the Pogues, the Cure, Irish Folk, Sinead O´Connor, Patti Smith, Beatles, Sentenced, U2, Nine Inch Nails, Flogging Molly, Nick Cave, Cat Stevens, Ane Brun, ...

Favorite Movies:

Hi Sabrina, I posted a Carlsberg commercial onto my profile http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTNBmFveq2U

It's a funny advert, you might not get the joke but the commercial basically pokes fun at us Irish people's understanding of the Irish language. As I told you with the Yu Ming is Ainm Dom video, Irish is not really spoken widely here in Ireland except in some local areas in the west of the country. If you need a translation of the commercial just ask me, although many of the comments on YouTube have the translations. The best line is at 0:22-0:25, it translates as "Can I go to the toilet?" Every Irish man, woman and child knows that one.
