Hmm So you think that best way to know ourselves is by knowing someone else and comparing . In the process of knowing someone else , what can I observe about that "someone else"? His?her pattern of responses or reaction to situations , his/her behavior , experiences , emotion . If that "someone else" is just collection of his/her experiences, emotion , pattern of responses then maybe we can know ourselves by knowing someone else . But Is that "someone else" just collection of his/her experiences, emotions, pattern of responses and reactions??

Knowing ourselves by using someone else as reference may have been useful If we were static entities but are we static entities? and here the reference and the object of analysis, both are changing continuously so neither the reference nor object are static .
So how can be know ourselves ?

Yeah I knew that you are trying to be funny but i wanted to talk to you , you kind of intrigued me and I needed a conversation :)

Yeah about intention to be different - why do we seek differences ? Aren't we already different? , I can't find anyone like me neither you . So why do we seek differences? why do we need some kind of identification to be different? Is it because we are unaware of our nature and whatever we know about ourselves is just collection of cultural labels , experiences and all ? Don't you think rather than seeking the differences , we should seek for ourselves and If we find ourslves then we would know for sure that we are unique .

who is a rebel according to you ? Is it merely about having dreadlocks or collection of decent tattoos or piercing or is it about going against mainstream , against widely accepted social norms ? Or rebellion is a totally different phenomena, it has nothing to do with social norms or dreadlocks or cute piercing like yours . what do you say ?
