When I could laugh,but now,not so.
There was a place,not far from here,
That once held beauty and drew me near.
Then was a time & place so dear,
But now all lost,there comes a fear,
That going back can not appear.

For here & now are far away,
As I seek again that day,
When I could laugh,and oh my friend,
