About Me:
I think the best one line description I've heard to describe me is: 'an extrovert trapped in an introverts body'. I don't think I can really add to that. I'll let you fill in the blanks.
Requests:
Just like Martin Luther King I had a dream. When I was growing up I wanted to talk to people from other countries. I wanted to write to them. I wanted letters to drop through my letterbox like the inevitable raindrops on wash day. It never happened. I never did get to talk to anyone outside the British Isles.
I grew up and got 'older', but that childlike dream never left me. I still get the buzz of childish glee when I receive a letter through the post, unless it's a bill. Six months ago I found this site and finally my dream became real. I found people from all over the world. People from places I never knew existed and from countries I couldn't find with a sat nav. Now I get letters in my inbox everyday.
I guess I just wanted to take this oppurtunity to say thank you to each and every person I have talked to on here, and also to the people I have yet to talk to.
I'm open to all! except those who put their email address in their first message. I will NOT answer you.
Also please forgive me if I view your profile more than once. I have a terrible memory, Honestly my memory's like a....erm...that thing with the holes in it...

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
writer, poet, literature, music, buying and reading books, real ale, watching rugby league and football, nature, birdwatching (not a twitcher though!). I watch TV too, I know it's not a hobby, more like something you do when you can't think of anything else. Would love to travel, but funds aren't available at present. I intend to save money and see the world (or save the world and see money!), even if I have to resort to buying a plastic globe!!
