I think that it would be a good idea to visit Naples some day, independentl​y from the problems there, it is a beautiful city I find, I visited it for the first time last summer and I liked a lot also Pompei, the Sorrento and Amalfi coast, where I found some of the most breathtaking​ scenery I have ever seen. I also found that compared to other cities in Italy (Milan first of all, but also Rome, Venice) life there is cheaper.
When I go back to Russia, I  spend most of my time visiting parents, relatives and old friends. As for my feelings, I am usually happy to be back home and to see again familiar faces and places. Of course I am asked a lot of questions about Italy and life in Milan. Things with family and friends are great, as for other people, at times I get the impression that they look at me as if I were a foreigner, as if I did not belong there anymore. Someone even asked me "You still speak good Russian"​ !!!??? :-)) Well, I imagine that in their shoes I could have the same feelings. As for this "identity"​ thing, I will tell you something that happened when my mother visited me in Milan last month. My son was talking to one of his little friends and told him "There is my grandmother here, and she is a REAL russian"​. I asked him "What do you mean a real russian? Am I not russian too??" And he : "Well, yes, but you live here, you speak Italian, she comes from Russia...."​ LOL :-)))))
