I am Reza, Sri Lankan Muslim, 67 years old. would love to discuss many things such as religion, economy, life , politics, etc.  I was a teacher. I would like to see the sectraian differences in Islam and among Muslim, over inflated by non-muslim enimies of Islam- disappeared from our Ummah and see the day when all muslims pray in the same mosque shoulder to shoulder. We created or somebody created divisions  such as Shia, Sunni, Safi, Hanafi, Maliki, Hambali, Qadiri, nakshabandi,​ Alaviya, Shazuliya etc. etc to  create disharmony amoung muslims. THey have succeded in their mission. We kill each other ever day every where, every moment. Shias bomb the sunni mosques and sunnis bombed shia mosques . What is this madness? Even if you have differences no one has the right to kill another, even a non muslim or enemy. I requested your President to make all muslims in his country to pray in the same mosques in all throughout Iran and also requested to take necessary steps to get rid of petrol queue, housing shortages, joblessness,​poverty and illiteracy etc. We muslims in Sri Lanka live in peace harmony with Budhists and we muslims in Sri Lanka do not make a fuss about sect diffrences. My brother's name is Hussain. My sister's son is Hassan.My daughter is Fathima Rifka- as we mostly like to add name of Fathima with our girl's names.We have Ashura celebrations​ for first 10 days of the month . We recite Talqeen at the time of burial. We , Sri Lankans are very grateful for your President and people of Iran for extending a 3 billion dollar development assistance and helping our country in very many other ways. But, we want him to take care of his poor peple first. He is a great leader of this century , but little caution and maturity in internationa​l affairs. What is nahjolbalagh​ah?

My parents are iranian and every year in the summer I go back to see my family :) I'm actually planning to go back during nowrooz.
My vision of Iran is kind of twisted. I love going back cause people are so different in Iran compared to Dutch people, so much more warmer en friendlier at least the people Í've met. I've also seen iranians I can't stand.. But I coulnd't live there. The vision they have of woman is just something I can't understand. Or when you walk down the streets and boys say something rude you can't answer them cause then you (a girl) are doing something wrong.
I don't have a religion, I'm a girl of science :). I believe everything we gain in life is something WE did, not that it is your destiny or that God wanted or helped. But I'm really interested in all different religions, I'm actually reading the Quran translated in Dutch but I'm thinking of studying Arabic so after a few years maybe with some help I can read the arabic one:)
