Like all of you I am looking for a few new penpals - snail mail primarily. I am a  27 y/o girl living  and working in New York City but originally from Eastern Europe. I am very independent and mature for my age but I can go crazy and childish when I feel like it.:-) I am proud of my heritage; I believe Balkan people are very colorful, friendly, full of life and can offer a rich cultural perspective.​

Here are some random thoughts....​I like heat better than cold. Coffee, chocolate and cheese are the best things mankind ever came up with.:-)) A quiet evening with a glass of wine and a movie is as good as a wild night out. Book reading is a lost art - we've become too visual. Often penpals are better friends than the real ones. There is no such thing are real news these days.

I am not a penpal collector and don't wish to to be in such a collection. I tend to write longish letters and would like my penpals to do the same. I love exchanging postcards and little things I come across.

You don't have to agree with any of the above to write me. Just be chatty, willing to listen and share, positive and non-judgemen​tal. I wouldn't want to restrict anybody but please, no romantic/sex​ual responses. These will be easily ignored.

Any one from Europe (Balkan countries especially welcome), South America and Australia. Recent immigrants in the US are welcome as well. It'll be fun to exchange points of view.
