Yes it was w/ the USArmy and we were stationed in Tonduchon, Camp Casey. I had a good time in UR country, it was a great adventure! I met alot of interesting people, 3 college students took me to a small restaurant and we had the won-ton soup and a pitcher of beer. I got a little drunk. They were gracious enough to take me to a bus stop and made sure I got on the right bus to get back to Casey. They spoke of Freedom and Liberty. I went back a month later and couldn't find them again. But I remember their kindness and hospitality. Chuck

Just wandering about and came across UR profile. I had a aunt who lived in Grants Pass.OR and my family had been to Coos Bay and Goldbeach. I lived in CA for 21 yrs and been to UR country back in 1973. I hated the part of having to drive to 8th Army and the 121 Evac hospital. It normally took 45 from the city limits to get there. Can't remember the place's name, young...something.
