Hmm... there is no concrete way to describe myself, as I am learning more and more about myself every day. I value compassion,h​onesty and integrity above all else. I am overly critical of myself but I strive not to judge others before I really get to know them. I am very random but I think that is part of my charm :)
I think my life would be empty and meaningless without music in it. I hope that I can learn how to play an instrument one day, and also publish a novel or collection of short stories in my lifetime.

Even when I am in a low state of mind or am very stressed out, I try to take a few moments to really absorb the world around me- the colors, the sounds, the movements. I enjoy people-watch​ing, losing myself in a good book, being moved to tears by a movie or song, writing in a special journal (for my eyes only of course), making photo albums, writing personalized​ letters and cards to my friends and family (and now to my new interpals acquaintance​s!), finishing a difficult sudoku puzzle without cheating by looking at the answers in the back, knitting colorful scarves, looking at people in the eyes when I walk past (hoping they will give a small hint of a smile to remind me that life is good), mixing my cereals, staying up late for no particular reason, having conversation​s that make me feel connected to the other person, if only for a moment in time, collecting willow tree angels and coloful dangly earrings, drinking thick milkshakes from the campus diner with my best friends, exploring foreign lands, meeting people that know things that I don't..... just as a start :)
I want to be liked just as anyone else would but I would never sacrifice who I really am to satisfy others' expectations​. I believe that everything somehow does happen for a reason, that there is at least a little bit of good in everyone, and that it is of the utmost importance to be true to yourself.

Anyone from around the world! However it would be especially great if I could meet some people that speak Italian, which I am currently trying to learn at school, and also anyone in the UK, because I am studying abroad in England next semester ( so excited!!! :-P)

*Also, I get sort of irritated with the "copy and paste" type messages- obviously the people that use these are just trying to sell themselves and get as many friends as possible (and usually its judged by the user picture) and it just isn't sincere. I haven't been answering those kinds of messages for that reason :-/
