Hello!​ My name is Clara.
I'm seventeen years old from California and entering my final year in high school.

えーと、初めまして。　名​前はクララです。　
十七歳で、カリフォルニア​ に住んでいます。

I find it difficult to sum up my whole personality in a few sentences.
I guess you would say I'm the shy type, but when you get to know me, I become a whole different person, ha ha. But I am working on getting out of the shy thing. :D

個性は複雑で、寡黙です。​

Deep conversation​s are more fun than short topics and last a whole lot longer than small talk. :D

But when it comes to small talk, don't be surprised if I talk about Japan and nothing else. I'm not too excellent with small talk, but I do manage to give a good few tidbits here and there. :D

I enjoy meeting new people no matter where you're from. I'd love to learn as many languages as I can! English (as you can probably tell) is my best language, but my Japanese isn't too shabby either. I can hold a decent conversation​ in Japanese.

I'm working on my Chinese and Italian at the moment.
As for Thai and Vietnamese, that'll be on hiatus until I can find a good teacher for those two.

I'd love to enjoy the wonders of communicatio​n and the bonds that tie the whole world together. =)

I also have a tendency to be rather forgiving and open, but if you cross boundaries I'm not willing to cross, I will bite. But other than that, enjoy! :D

Also, I study capoeira, so don't mess with me. ;D

I'm also proficient in Japanese.

I'd like to learn many many many more languages!

I'd like to re-learn Chinese since I'm getting rusty, preferably Cantonese over Mandarin.

- Photography has been a big summer hobby of mine because I can't stand the thought of losing those little moments.
- I am currently in a marching band. Marching is hell on my back and everything else.​
