Hi :) What periods in History are you interested in? At High School I studied Medicine and Elizabethan England. Medicine had alot of improvements until the Roman Empire collapsed and knowledge was lost, it was then regained by Islams and monastries. It was based alot on the four humours, a theory by a Greek :). The there's lots of people who developed vaccines, surgery developments, etc..William Harvey, Versalius, Louis Pasteur..Not sure if you've heard of them? :)
Elizabathen England can be summarised by it being the 'Golden Age'. :).
Then there's things such as the fire of london, etc. Here, York is a very historical place, and I'm from there, so if you want I can tell you alot about York :)

Hmm, Writers..Well Shakespeare is obviously very popular, He's studied at high school and college and lots of theatres produce plays on behalf of his plays. In College I will be studying 'Othello' by him :). I've also studied Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet and Macbeth :)
There's also a lot of poets, a popular one is John Agard with 'Half-caste'. I think he also has a book :).

And Greek Literature, yea it sounds good to me I think :). I'm looking forward to starting it on Tuesday :D.

Why do you want to be an economist? and what music do you listen to? :) x

I like shakespeare, although I find some of the poetry weird, his plays are pretty good. I wouldn't know who to recommend actually, I dont really stick to a certain authour, I kind of just read anything :)
At college i'm looking forward to studying greek literature though, because I think it will be a different insight in comparison to somebody fairly more recent.
What do you want to do when you're older? x
