Seahawks fan in SA, wow!! didn't see that coming. Though I live in Seattle I'm not Hawks' fan. Do you think you will make it to the Super Bowl this year?

I think all of it. Everything I recognised was American. It's just that I always think of Australians as being quite insular when it comes to all that. Or maybe insular has completely the wrong connotations but it seems to make sense that somewhere so remote from anywhere else would have its own distinct culture that didn't follow anyone else's. And isn't it more appealing to follow Aussie rules rather than American football, because you'll be around people who follow it? Although having said that, English rugby seems really drab compared to American football. The Seahawks seem evil though! I remember the year they won it recently and the way their crowd makes so much noise to put the other teams off, and how arrogant some of their players seemed, they really seemed quite easy to dislike, although I might have been influenced by a friend who was supporting the 49ers.
