About Me:
"Never judge a book by its cover." Well the last time I checked, books weren't printed inside-out. So go ahead and judge me from my 5 measly profile pictures.
I grew up trying be a wise panini in ancient Greece, but the world just has no space for a philosophical pastry. So here I am, studying engineering in the States and trying to rock it up a notch.

Requests:
I'm game for anything, but I would love to have snail mail penpals. Email and I don't click too well, with a lousy pun totally intended.
Interests, Hobbies, etc.:
I love flatwater kayaking. I would do it more often if there were more calm waters around where I stay, but unfortunately that's not the case. I have to stick with pictures of calm lakes and rivers and pretend I'm having fun.
Street soccer is another favourite pastime of mine, as well as watching real professionals play football. There's a reason why it's such a beautiful game, because you can't put your finger on the reason.
I also love watching touge (mountain pass) racing because it gives me the thrills, hence the desperate need to play Need For Speed every now and then. It lets me live for a fleeting moment.

Favorite Music:
Classical, New Age, Reggae, Reggaeton, Downtempo, Trance, Drum & Bass, House or any music that suits my mood. So you can say that I feel electronic most of the time, whatever that means.
80's music. A definite must.

Favorite Movies:
Fight Club, Snatch, Lucky Number Slevin, 300, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Revolver, Layer Cake, Memento, Thank You For Smoking, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Hors de Prix, Little Miss Sunshine, 12 Monkeys, The Holy Grail, Cidade de Deus, Gattaca, Borat, A Scanner Darkly. Not so much a superhero fan, but Wanted was good though.
Favorite TV Shows:
Band of Brothers, The Office, 30 Rock, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Mock The Week, Family Guy, American Dad, Blackadder, Top Gear, Smack The Pony, Drawn Together, Jon & Kate Plus 8, What Not To Wear
And if you include anime: Death Note, Initial D, Ghost In The Shell, Great Teacher Onizuka, Samurai Champloo and this funky one called Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Favorite Quotes:
"First rule of business: protect your investment."
- Etiquette of the Banker, 1775
"No chains shall sully thee,
Thou soul of love and brav'ry!
Thy songs were made for the pure and free,
They shall never sound in slavery!"
- Minstrel Boy by Thomas Moore
"The first time someone calls you a horse you punch him on the nose, the second time someone calls you a horse you call him a jerk but the third time someone calls you a horse, well then perhaps it's time to go shopping for a saddle."
- The Rabbi, Lucky Number Slevin
"A person unlearns arrogance when he knows he is always among worthy human beings; being alone fosters presumption. Young people are arrogant because they always associate with their own peers, those who are all really nothing but who would like to be very important."
- Friedrich Nietzsche
Nothing in particular about seizing the day, but that's a good idea.

I am. My story? Not exactly sure of my story. I am a freshman in college right now so my life is pretty much centered around school and work. I'm from Boston but my school is in New Hampshire and it's kind of dull living away from the city. How about you? What's going on in Indiana?
Heyy! How are you? I'm Mia by the way! =D So you like Top Gear? That's great show, really funny! XD

Wouldn't mind learning Chinese, but want to wait a while before I learn to write it. Any good ideas? Cheap software that will help?
London was the best - I didn't want to come home lol and what amazed me, more than anything else - more than the buildings, the shops, the universities, the people --- what amazed me the most was the fact that the buses ran 24/7 =O it was like taxis were no longer needed at 5am because the buses were ready and waiting! amazing hahahaha
