I'm more of a believer in the traditional method of corresponden​ce - two random people, vastly different backgrounds,​ working from scratch. I honestly think it'd be a lot more fun. I'm pretty open-minded,​ so I'm set for that sort of boogie - write to me if that sounds good to you, be adventurous!​ GO!

I'll help by saying that I'll be pretty open (haven't I already said this) - my aim is to find someone to discover and learn about. Would love someone who will write long, ask me questions, answer my own, and be very open to how different people from different parts of the world can be.

Sound good? Alors, ecrivez à moi! (You don't have to speak French, I don't mind at all).

What I will do, though, just for general reference, is leave an extra-concen​trated sort of dose of myself below.

ETA: I should probably say that despite the bubbly sort of feel on this advertisemen​t for the self, I can be very deep if I want to, we'll just have to get the conversation​ steering in that direction, but I don't want to push it on people :)

ETA: I'm looking for serious corresponden​ce, because I hope to snail mail! I already have to brilliant penpals at the moment, am just looking for another one or two from other parts of the world because I think it'd be brilliant to be exchanging ideas that way.

Many layered writing. Oh my God, I just love writing like I can't love anything else that's not like writing. Clint Mansell. Catch-22. F Scott Fitzgerald. I'm usually a lot more articulate, trust me. 1984! Musicals, the theatre.  Drawing etc etc etc. I am also a practising Muslim.

I don't want TV that much but I used to, and like things like Goodness Gracious Me, Family Guy, Futurama - just things with a random sense of humour.

Relevant to add is that I'm currently trying my hand at poetry, and favourite poets include Emily Dickinson and Gerald Manley Hopkins (though I don't really know like their entire body of work, I just like their style and have my favourites amongst their works). I also find contemporary​ poetry someone unreal at times, but love them as well :D I also don't like free verse that much.

A lot of people are afraid of heights - I'm afraid of widths.
