About Me:
My name is Sarah, and I'm a 17 year old girl with a lot of dreams.♥ I plan to do so many things, and yet it feels like I don't have enough time to achieve them all. I love to make new friends - especially from different areas of the world. It gives me a real experience of what's going on in other countries, rather than listening to what the media says on the news.
I like helping others - it's my most favorite thing to do. ♥ If you have helped someone, you know what that happy feeling is inside of you. I feel really special when I'm able to help people understand what they're having problems with. I've saved 2 people from suicide multiple times.
I hope to make a lot of friends here. I hope to answer questions you may have - whether it's how the US is, or just something personal.
As for schooling, I'm attending my final year of high school this fall. Afterwards, i plan to go to a community college for one year, and then transfer to a higher university. I'm majoring in math education (mainly teach algebra because that's where kids start to have problems with math), and minoring in photography. ♥ I'm very dedicated to schoolwork. As of my last report card, I had a 4.17 GPA. The highest someone could get is a 4.5, and that's not likely for someone to get.
As for family, I have my grandparents (mom's parents), my mom, an older sister, and 2 minature dachshunds, Fritz and Heidi. ♥ I don't have a dad. I never did. He didn't die...he's just not there. He never was. I never went to a daddy-daughter dance. I never saw him after I was about 1 years old. He's never been a part of my life. One day I hope to find him--show him the person I've become...

I would love to have penpals from all over the globe. Especially ones are that devoted to hearing about the other's culture and stories.

Reading, Writing short stories/poetry, video games (except sports ones and games that deal with guns), helping others, listening to music, participate in the world of photography...
I'm also taking part in a sign language class at a local college. I love learning sign language! ♥♥ Hopefully I can help the hard-of-hearing--I might not become completely fluent, but at least I'll be able to communicate with them.

Yeah, the photo of the yellow flower is taken by myself (and I have to admit I'm proud of it^^).

I agree with you... I think you can't say that there's a typical German, European or whatever! But most of the time there are some typical prejudices... I've often experiecend a lot of people (from other countries) think we Germans are always on time, or we all like sausage. (very funny to hear this, sometimes!)
