I figured WeChat will be more convenient since it goes straight to your phone. I will add you.

If it's more convenient for you, you can message me on WeChat (if you have one that is). I heard it is really popular in China, so I figure I will give it a try.

When you were young, did you dream of becoming something else (in terms of a profession)? I feel like a lot of people wanted to be teachers when they were younger because that is one of the profession they knew about. However, growing up less and less people want to become teachers. I never wanted to be a teacher, even when I was younger. But it is definitely a god profession since you need to teach the new generation.

Is English required in grade school over there?

I remember my freshman year of college, I met some of the Chinese exchange students and they were like it is weird talking to a fellow Chinese in English. To me it is not weird since I grew up with non-Asians pretty much my whole life, so it is weird for me to speak Chinese to others that aren't my family. Even with my own parents, we have a blend of English and Chinese in our everyday dialogue.

I am finishing up my dental school application, so if I get in, I will be starting dental school in the Fall of 2016. I have one more year of undergrad, so starting this fall, I am going to be a senior in college. :D I can't believe how quick college came and gone.

I am curious, what's a popular profession over in China right now?

I will be more than happy to help. Just let me know! :D

Did you always wanted to be a teacher? Is French a common language over in China, because I feel like beside English, French is the next language you guys know? My sister knows French, but I am learning Spanish right now. I can speak a little bit of Korean, but definitely not fluent. I can also speak English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I always wanted to know more language because I wanna travel and I think it is more of an experience if I am able to speak to others in their language.

I was actually born in China, but my family moved when I was really little. I am an American citizen though. :D Just not ABC.

I would love to be your English teacher. Just a heads up, I might not be the greatest teacher, but I will definitely try my best. Just let me know what I can help you with. :D

You said you want to study language in HK, so I was just wondering what language you were thinking of studying. I am assuming English? Can you speak any other language beside Chinese and English?

My English writing is DEFINITELY more beautiful than my Chinese. XD

The TOFEL is only for foreign students applying to universities here. I didn't need it. To be honest I didn't even know what it was before I looked it up. I have heard of the name from my foreign exchange friends but I didn't quite understood what they were talking about. Now I do. :D

Did you have a specific language in mind?
inactive user
Yes I am Chinese. :D

Do you have to take the IELTS for universities?

What are you planning on studying?
