wow, you may adopt!  are you single?  I had also considered adopting, but the cost is too high for me - US has very high fees.  what about your country?

I am teaching 2nd grade here; my son also goes to school in this school.  But teaching is not my field, I worked in computers before.

I have Chinese family in Canada, many friends here, and "adopted"​ family in Chengde - north near Beijing.

That is great, I think Shaoxing is near Hangzhou, Shanghai, etc. I have never been there, but it is a beautiful area.  Have been to Hangzhou, shanghai, etc. though, so same area.  We are in Suzhou right now.  Originally from USA.
