Language Exchange Requests
I can get by in French and German and would LOVE to learn Italian, Spanish and Welsh. Well, I'd love to learn every language but I can't do it all at once!
Hobbies & Interests
I play loads of musical instruments (viola, violin, piano, flute, flugelhorn, trumpet, percussion!) and also love listening to music. Penpalling (obviously!), reading, acting, ballroom dancing, scrapbooking, cross stitch, knitting, crochet, long walks and running. I have a collection of fountain pens and inks and I also love spending time with my friends.
Favorite Music
Bit of everything really although heavy metal, house and country don't really do it for me!
My all time favourite groups and singers include Beautiful South, Ben Folds Five (who I once did a gig with!), Kate Bush, Barenaked Ladies, Eva Cassidy, Michael Buble and so much more.
I ALWAYS buy the NOW CDs - even when I think what the hell is some of this. Call my a packrat, a collector, I don't know but I always enjoy them! My one foray into the world of club music is to buy the Ministry of Sound Annual compilation at Christmas. I love to drive to it and study (I seem to work faster) but you'd never actually catch me IN the club!
Having been a musician all my life there is a decent chunk of classical music in my collection too, I find it very relaxing and it brings back some lovely memories.
