Here is a true thought and I am not being funny. Chinese people should use their real name and not a Hollywood name. I am sure your parents did not name you Valerie. Teachers often give students an American name, but I never liked that idea. I think Chinese should be Chinese. It is better to show respect to you and your culture if you are not turned into just another American. It is why I picked the Chinese name of Hong Bao. I wanted to show how silly it is to change your name. Problem is my Chinese students like it. :(

It is true. All Americans are funny and easy going. It is because we all have four toes instead of five. Ask your American co-workers to take off their shoes and you will see it is true.
