About Me:
Hi! I'm Emile and I'm 19 years old. I live in the beautiful city of Leiden in The Netherlands. I'm currently a second year chemistry student, but chemistry is not my only interest of course! I'm also very fond of learning foreign languages, collecting coins and bank notes from all around the world, history, culture, travelling and my biggest interest: music.
I like music very much. It can be stated that I can't live one single day without music :P I play electrical guitar.
My favorite music is (folk)metal, gothic metal, hardrock and rock in general. I really dislike rap, hiphop and electronic music, such as techno and trance (no offence ;) )

Requests:
First of all: I would like to meet people who are about my age (18-25 years old). I'll only add people as my friend after we've had a little chat and have become acquainted a little bit.
Further, I would like to meet people who share my interest in music, though this is not necessary.
I would also like to meet people who love travelling. There are just so many places in the world I want to visit! Sharing experiences on these places would be great!
And last but not least: I think it would be great to meet people who can "teach" me a little bit about their language! In exchange, I can teach you a little bit Dutch as well if you like ;)
Further, I would like to meet people who share my interest in music, though this is not necessary.

Goedendag, how've you been? And yeah, that's the right way of saying it :) I've started learning dutch once, but kinda slowly dropped it as it turned out school would lead me to London instead of Amsterdam (hope so). I recently thought of picking it up again, there's this site they advertise here that teaches you basically any language, for free.
Yeah, i know the Nothing Else Matters version, it is nice, i also like Ruska or Deathzone. A whole lot :)

I enjoy listening to Apocalyptica, some Poisonblack/Charon, Sentenced, Blind Guardian, Falconer, Enslavement of Beauty, Avantasia, Shadow Gallery, Therion, some Rammstein, and there are others. I can't really say which i like most. Maybe i am old fashioned, but i really think Scorpions is still very cool :)
And yeah, trust it on Monty Python to deliver laughs 30 years after their debut. I think Eddie Izzard is sort of continuing the line, in a way :)

its pretty much the same almost ey... afrikaans was derived from Deutch.....
okay... Dit gaan baie goed met my.. hoe gaan dit met jou?... new-zeeland is baie lekker. ek het so baie vriende gemaak hier...maar almal is afrikaans haha!!.. die weer is partykeer net sleg en baie koud, maar te minste is somer ampe ampe hier en dan kan ek en my pelle elke dag strand toe gaan... =] =] =].... ek sal graag wil help waar ek kan... se my net waarmeer jy gehelp wil word.. =] jaaa dit sal baie cool wees haha!!.. dankie baie
