Well... there's a little bit on that, but it's partial on both counts lol. I would say Dexter came first in regards to how this show is in some manners, but Hannibal was a series long before Dexter, so technically; it isn't.

Yep, absolutely; Hannibal is fantastic. A bit dark, but that's one of the things that makes it so great. I'm honestly pretty amazed a network like NBC airs it in the first place. It would seem more inline with something on HBO or FX; a darker network in general haha.
