I'm a pretty average Canadian. i enjoy hockey and winter-relat​ed sports and the likes. do pretty average things, hang out with friends and whatnot. however, i have some unusual interests outside of those boundaries. theres also a lot about me that i haven't put here, so don't assume that i'm a 2-bit person.

someone who likes equally odd things as i do. fluent English is definitely a plus, but don't be intimidated by that, i won't mind if your english isn't that good.. also i'm not interested in small talk.....aga​in, also, i'm especially interested in talking to anyone from europe, since i plan to move there sometime in the future.

and finally, i have a policy of responding with as much interest as i am interested in the questions i get.

my french isn't nearly as good as i would like it to be.

i enjoy theoretical physics, and philosophy. both  for the same reason: helping myself understand the universe on my own terms. so thinking is a major hobby of mine, when i'm not out drinking and partying it up wit friends. i also enjoy history. although some might call me strongly athiest, i'm perfectly open to the idea of a god, or many gods. however i prefer to believe in scientific method.

among the various classical and jazz that i enjoy, and the usual classic rock and classics and punk, specific bands that i like are streetlight manifesto, muse, menomena, the planet smashers, the mighty mighty bosstones, rancid, the transplants,​ tiger army, beirut, catch 22, westbound train, the aquabats and  the shins, just to name a few.

the motorcycle diaries, schindler's list, apocalypse now, jack @ss(1 and 2), happy gilmore, pirates of the caribbean(al​l 3), joe dirt, pulp fiction, all of the james bond movies, pay it foreward, v for vendetta, hot fuzz, shaun of the dead, silence of the lambs, three kings, 28 days(and weeks) later, dr. strangelove,​ ocena's 11, a clockwork orange and clerks, among many many more.

i watch maybe one hour of t.v. in a month, so none. although i do enjoy mythbusters.​

the hitchiker's guide to the galaxy(all 3), dream catcher, lord of the rings and many many more that i can't think of right now.
