My name is Jennifer and I live in the US.  I have many interests.  I love animals and have many pets of my own.  I love music (especially playing it).  I also like swimming, hiking, traveling (although sadly I still have not been out of the US.... but hopefully that will change soon), cooking, reading (although I never seem to have time for it any more) and I collect stamps (so if you would like to write postal letters, that would be good for me)  :)  I have other interests too, so just ask if you would like to get to know me better.

I am a very honest person and a loyal friend.  I am very accepting of other people and try to be open minded about everything.  I would love to talk to someone who I can trust and who feels they can trust me as well. I think that trust is key in any friendship.  That way, we can also talk about day to day things as well as thoughts, feelings, ideas, etc.

I am really looking for a long-term friendship and not just "hi.  how are you" or someone who is going to quit writing after a couple letters.  I am particularly​ interested in a snail mail pen pal, but maybe we can exchange some emails first to get to know each other.  I like writing long letters and would really like someone who likes to write long letters as well  :)  Also, if you are interested in trading small things from our countries, I think that would be fun. Simple things that might seem stupid to you would be very interesting for me :D  We could also trade recipes or something from our culture.  But if you would rather not, that is fine with me too.

Unfortunatel​y, I only know English well enough to write letters in, although I have been learning German, so maybe someone can help me with that.  :)  I would be glad to help someone with their English if they would like.

Only people around my age please!  I would especially like to meet different people from Germany, Poland, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania or other European countries because I'm hoping to do an exchange program or just travel some time and it'd be great to get to know some people (and maybe even meet them some day).  :)  I am also just interested in learning about other cultures.  Please don't bother to write if you are only going to write a couple words or quit after several letters.  It's not worth either of our time then.  =P

I have been learning German, although I am still not very good at it.  But I am very interested in improving.  I would also love to learn Polish.  I can help anyone with their English (although I don't know all the grammar rules and such...)

hmmm... that really depends on my mood. I listen to a variety of music (rock, classical, soundtracks)​... pretty much whatever sounds nice  :)  I also like playing music.
