About Me:

I did have my physical description written right here, and I don't even remember typing it. Isn't that sad and shallow of me?!  I have a weird personality that sometimes gets me into trouble. Incorrigible procrastinator. Honestly, people have a hard time understanding me. I guess I have a dark and dry sense of humor, which is fine with me. I love life, and beauty of this world that we live in is outstanding. I love to embrace different cultures, and someday I will try to visit every country. I read in-between the lines, and I love to make people smile and laugh. I feel a special kinship with the Elderly, I volunteer at a senior center and hang out with them. Old People are cool.

Requests:

Looking for someone who is totally different from me to help me gain knowledge about the world that I live in. I don't mind talking to people in all of the age groups, but please stop with the marriage proposals. It's just awkward for everyone involved...

Language Exchange Requests:

I know the American Sign Language...

Interests, Hobbies, etc.:

Reading, hiking, exploring new towns and countries, writing, painting, listening to music, learning about new things and cultures, Eastern Religions, travelling, cycling, running, vegan-ism, healthy living, and cooking. Mostly reading and writing though. I love photography!

Favorite Music:

Beck, Neutral Milk Hotel, Toots and the Maytels, Paul Simon, Iron and Wine, Ray LaMontagne, Joshua Radin, Rick White.  I could go on forever, really. I don't like anything really mainstream, and prefer to find indie and underground musicians. Show your support!

Favorite Movies:

I just watched "In To The Wild", and wow. What a movie. I recommend watching it!

Favorite TV Shows:

I take comfort in the smaller things and details in life. Have you ever laid in a hammock for hours on end, just so you can watch the clouds? After awhile you start to feel like you are floating. If you haven't, you should try it. Much better than TV.

Favorite Books:

Everything!!! I read an average of five books a week. Yeah, I'm a nerd. So many people have traveled, experienced great and unique things, and then wrote about it. Books are wonderful.

Favorite Quotes:

Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity-MLK -from his speech-Strength to Love, 1963

Can't say I'm totally different from you—quite the opposite, perhaps. I'm curious, though. What about your personality gets you in trouble? I feel that way sometimes, though I wouldn't think to say it. Tell me also what draws you to books, and to writing. In addition to learning through the experience of others, what makes for a good read?

I've never been to Utah but I have been to Idaho, Wyoming, and Colorado (where I'm from) along with a few other states.
Sometimes you can see the northern lights from town but to see them really well you have to get out of the city because of all the lights, and the more north you go the better.
