Cheers!  I'm Jess, your resident cheeky redhead (and occasional ninja / superhero).  "About Me" sections are tricky, but it's best to begin at the beginning, so here's the basic recipe:

- Sprinkle in equal measures of sauciness, curiosity, optimism, and laughter
- Bake in a Southwestern​ oven until freckles emerge  ;-)

I'm originally from New York and have been out in the 'Zona for 4 years now.  I love it!  I have quite a bit of wanderlust and a sense of adventure, and I love to travel, explore new places, and experience new things.  I'm all about having passion and being a free spirit, and I often feel like an old soul who's also young at heart.  I've always been curiously fascinated with vintage pin-up artwork (think Alberto Vargas and WWII calender girls) and the era of the 1940's.  I definitely see myself as a throwback to those days ... And that superhero I spoke of?  You'd better watch out -- she kills 'em with kindness and has weapons of "mass seduction"​.  *Wink, Grin*

When I'm not out crime fightin', I love movies, reading, and great conversation​s with friends -- from musings about metaphysics and life philosophies​, to theories on "Lost"​ and arguing over which version of "The Office"​ is superior (the US cast, all the way!) I'm always up for checking out live music, theater, and museums ... Watching tennis, spending time outdoors, taking late-night drives through the desert and experiencing​ new things. I'm a live-in-the-​moment kind of gal. Blink and you'll miss it, so enjoy life to the fullest!

My favorite folks are those who stroll, stumble, and rock out to the beat of their own drum. Independent,​ free spirits who think deep thoughts but don't take life too seriously; who love to laugh and have heads full of intelligent,​ witty banter; who believe it's the quality of your friends that matters more than the quantity.

I think there's nothing like that connection you can find with kindred spirits.  I have my sassy side, but I'm very soulful as well -- a dreamer and a deep thinker.  If that sounds like you as well, drop me a note!
